We wanted to document medicinal plants used in traditional Thai medicine before the knowledge became lost. I teamed up with Will from Dek Doi Chiang Dao and artist Note to create an art zine of plants documented in the village of Chiang Dao in Northern Thailand with the help of a village elder. We went trekking with Por Tai (the village elder) and he taught us about plants, trees, and animals. We documented what he said and took pictures of the plants. I transformed them into illustrations and Note created paintings inspired by those plants.
